Technique Classes for over 16s are available on weekday evenings. Classes are up to one and a half hours in length and are available at all levels, from beginner through to advanced (click here for details).

The classes focus on a method of dance training that builds the physical and artistic skills necessary to express one's individuality through movement.

Our belief is that it is crucially important for a dancer to understand the body "as a machine" in order to be able to use it well and move artistically.

Correct alignment, core strength, clarity of the extremities, physical expressiveness, spatial awareness and musicality are all key components, taught in each class.

The training incorporates elements of established techniques such as Graham, Cunningham and Limon.

Above all, students will learn to move through space with precision, energy and confidence whilst developing musicality and performance skills.

A-Level Dance is available. The practical side of this will be taught in our studio whilst the theoretical side will be provided by Westminster tutors.

Improvisation and Repertory Classes are offered subject to demand, as are opportunities for perfomance.

Beside A-Level, ‘GCSE Dance’ & ‘Enquire now for September enrolments through phoning’
